Oil pan and grid of the oil pump

* 1) Apply sealant 99000-31250 on the interfaced surfaces of an oil pan and the pallet of a case, having addressed point 1 of the procedure of installation.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Take out the oil probe. Lift the vehicle and remove both forward wheels. Remove a box of the steering mechanism (4) from the vehicle. Remove the case of forward differential (1) with differential (2) from the chassis. Address the Section Removal in the Head Forward differential.

    Merge engine oil, having opened a drain stopper. Remove an element of rigidity of transmission if that is available. Remove the lower plate of the case of the coupling (a hydrotransformer case). Remove an oil pan and a grid of the oil pump (2) from a case.

Cleaning

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    In an oil pan and screen of a grid of the oil pump.
    Clean the condensed surface on an oil pan and a case. Remove oil, old sealant and dust from the condensed surface.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    To facilitate and provide installation of an oil pan, increase a gap between the engine and the case of the vehicle according to the following procedure. Remove a rack support. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from a collector of the exhaust system. Remove nuts of fastening of the engine (right and left). By means of the device for raising of the engine at installation, raise the engine by 2 – 3 cm (about 1 inch).

Do not lift the engine more, than it is stated above. It can lead to damage of the engine or transmission.

    Apply sealant on the interfaced surface of an oil pan (1) continuously. "And": sealant 99000-31250.

    Put ring-shaped consolidations (2), and establish a grid of the oil pump (3) on an oil pan (1). At first twirl grid bolts, and then an arm bolt with the specified rotating moment.
      The rotating inhaling moment:
        Bolt of a grid of the oil pump (a) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot) Bolt of an arm of a grid of the oil pump (b) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot)
    After installation of an oil pan (4) on the case pallet, insert tightening bolts and begin to tighten at the center: turn a wrench outside, twisting on one bolt at a time. Fasten bolts and nuts with the specified rotating moment. The rotating inhaling moment: a bolt and a nut of an oil pan (c) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).
    Lower the engine and fasten nuts of fastening of the engine with the specified rotating moment, having addressed the Section Engine in this Chapter.
    Insert new laying and a drain stopper (2) into an oil pan (1). Fasten a drain stopper with the specified rotating moment. The rotating inhaling moment: a drain stopper (a) — 50 N • m (5.5 kg-m, 36.5 pound on foot).
    Establish the lower plate of the case of the coupling (a hydrotransformer case). Connect an exhaust pipe No. 1 to a collector of the exhaust system, having addressed the Section of the Collector of the exhaust system in this Chapter. Establish an element of rigidity of transmission on transmission and the block of the cylinder if that is available. Install the case of forward differential according to the procedure of the installation described in the Section Installation in the Head Forward differential. Fill the case of forward differential with gearbox oil, having addressed to Servicing in the Head Forward differential. Install a box of the steering mechanism in the vehicle, having addressed the Section Carter of the power steering in the Head Sistema of the power steering. Install the oil probe. Fill the engine with engine oil, having addressed the Section Engine oil and the filter in the Head Maintenance and lubricant. Fill in in system of steering with strengthening special liquid, having addressed the Section Power Steering Liquid in the Head Sistema of the power steering. Check whether engine oil, oil of differential and liquid of steering on each connection leaks.
