System of ignition System of ignition for the G16 engine General description
This system of ignition - system without distributor. It consists of parts as it is described below and has system of electronic control of ignition.
Though this system of ignition has no distributor, in it there are two coils of ignition (one for spark plugs No. 1 and No. 4, and another for spark plugs No. 2 and No. 3). When the signal of ignition is given with ECM (or PCM) on igniter in assembly of the coil of ignition for spark plugs No. 1 and No. 4, in the secondary coil high voltage is induced. Then it moves on a spark plug No. 1 through wires of high voltage and on a spark plug No. 4 directly from assembly of the coil of ignition, forcing both of these candles to give a spark at the same time. Similarly, when the signal of ignition goes with ECM (or PCM) on the ignition coil for spark plugs No. 2 and No. 3, high voltage is induced in the secondary coil. Then it moves on a spark plug No. 3 through wires of high voltage and on a spark plug No. 2 directly from the ignition coil, forcing both of these candles to give a spark at the same time. The system of ignition of the vehicle with a sensor of CKP does not demand adjustment of initial time of an advancing of ignition. |
