General description

Coupling represents coupling of a diaphragm press spring of one-disk dry type. The diaphragm spring like a cone-shaped finger represents a rigid ring on the end of external diameter with a number of the cone-shaped fingers directed inside.

The disk bearing the cylindrical springs working for torsion is located on the leading shaft of the transmission with evolvent shlitsevy landing. The cover of coupling is attached to a flywheel and holds a diaphragm spring in such a way that the peripheral part of the region of a spring pushes press a clutch plate to a flywheel (at the same time the disk is between them) when the coupling switching off drive bearing (the release bearing) keeps. This included condition of coupling.

Pressing of a pedal of coupling forces the release bearing to move forward and pushes tips of cone-shaped fingers of a diaphragm spring. When it occurs, the diaphragm spring delays press a clutch plate from a flywheel, thereby interrupting the drive from a flywheel through a clutch plate to the leading shaft of the transmission.
