Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative cable from the battery. Take off a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism, having addressed the Section Belt of the Drive of the Gas-distributing Mechanism and the tension device for a belt in this Chapter. Remove the generator and its arm.

At installation of an arm at first tighten a nut.

    Remove a pulley of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the crankshaft (3). To fix the crankshaft, use the special tool (the lock mechanism) with a gear wreath of a flywheel (1) (a wreath of a flywheel of a drive plate for the And/T models). Having fixed the crankshaft, remove a bolt of a pulley of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the crankshaft (2). Special tool: (A) — 09927-56010.
    Remove an oil pan (3) and a grid of the oil pump (2), having addressed the Section Oil pan and a grid of the oil pump in this Chapter.

    Having turned off bolts (2), remove the unit of the oil pump (1).

Dismantle

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove the directing bolt of the index of level of oil (3) and take out the index (2) from the oil pump (1).

    Remove a plate of a rotor (1).
    Remove an external rotor (1) and an internal rotor (2).

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check an oil edge of consolidation for defects or other damages. If necessary replace.

When you put oil laying (1), densely press it adjusting until its end face is not drowned aflush with an end face of a casing of the oil pump (2).

    Check external and internal rotors, a plate of a rotor and a casing of the oil pump regarding excessive wear or damage.

Measurement

Radial gap

Check a radial gap between an external rotor (1) and a casing, using a kalibromer. If the gap is beyond restrictions, replace an external rotor or a casing. Limits of a radial gap between an external rotor and a casing — 0.310 mm (0.0122 inches).

Side gap

Using a kalibromer and a ruler, measure a side gap. Limits of a side gap — 0.15 mm (0.0059 inches).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Wash out, clean and then dry all sorted parts. Apply engine oil with a thin layer on external and internal rotors (1), an oil edge of consolidation, and internal surfaces of a casing of the oil pump and a plate.
    Establish external and internal rotors (2) on a pump casing.
    Establish a rotor plate. Fasten 5 screws (1) to the specified rotating moment. After installation of a plate be convinced that mechanisms smoothly turn a hand. The rotating inhaling moment: screws of a plate of the oil pump (a) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).
    Apply engine oil on a sealant of the index (3) and establish a sealant of the index and the index (2). Fasten the directing bolt of the index of level of oil to the specified rotating moment. The rotating inhaling moment: the directing bolt of the index of level of oil (a) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Install two hairpins of the oil pump and new laying of the oil pump on the block of cylinders.
    Not to damage or to turn an oil edge of consolidation at installation of the oil pump on the crankshaft, install the special tool (the index of oil consolidation) on the crankshaft, and apply engine oil on the special tool. Special tool: (A) — 09926-18210.
    Install the oil pump on the block of cylinders. Install the oil pump on the block of cylinders. As there are two types of bolts of the oil pump, address the drawing in order that it is correct to use them and fasten them to the specified rotating moment. The rotating moment zatyazhki6 a bolt of the oil pump (a) — 11 N • m (1.1 kg-m, 8.0 pound on foot).

    Establish rubber consolidation between the oil pump and the water pump.
    Establish a key of a pulley of regulation of the moment of ignition (1) and a pulley of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the cranked lever (2). The correct installation of these parts is shown in the drawing. Having fixed the crankshaft, twirl a bolt of a pulley of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the cranked lever (3) by the specified rotating moment.
      The rotating inhaling moment:
        bolt of a pulley of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the cranked lever (a) — 130 N • m (13.0 kg-m, 94.0 pound on foot)

4 — an adjusting pin (a crankshaft pulley pin)
5 — a flywheel (a drive plate for And/T)
    Establish the belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism, the tension device, a grid of the oil pump, an oil pan and other parts relating to the Sections Belt of the Drive of the Gas-distributing Mechanism and the tension device for a belt and the Oil pan and a grid of the oil pump in this Chapter. Make sure that all removed parts again on the place. Establish all necessary parts which were not established earlier. Adjust a tension of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism of the water pump, having addressed the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in the Head Okhlazhdeniye of the engine. Adjust a tension of a belt of the pump of the hydraulic booster of steering or a tension of a compressor belt for And/T if that is available. Address the Section Engine in the Head Maintenance and lubricant. Fill the engine with engine oil, having addressed the Section Engine oil and the filter in the Head Maintenance and lubricant. Fill the case of forward differential with gearbox oil, having addressed the Section Servicing in the Head Forward differential. Connect a negative cable to the accumulator. Make sure that antifreeze and oil do not leak on each socket. Upon completion of installation check oil pressure, having started the engine.
