Check of a belt of the generator and pump of cooling (on G16 engines)
|
|
Disconnect "weight" from joint stock bank.
Believe a belt on cracks, anguishes, deformation, wear and purity.
At detection of any defect replace a belt.
Check a belt for a tension.
Tension of a belt of the generator and the cooling pomp:
"and" — a deflection of 5 — 7 mm (0.20 — 0.28 inches) for G16.

2 — a pulley of the water pump
3 — 100 N, 10 kg or 22 pounds

When replacing a belt by new, adjust a belt tension to a deflection of 5 — 6 mm (0. 20 — 0. 24 inches) for G16. |
If the belt is drawn or too poorly tense, adjust to norm, by movement of the generator.
Tighten an adjusting bolt of the generator and the pivot axle.
Connect "weight" to joint stock bank.

Replacement of a belt of the generator and pomp of cooling (on G16 engines)
Replace a belt. See the Belt of the cooling fan in the Head Okhlazhdeniye of the engine for the procedure of replacement of a belt of the water pump.
Check of a driving belt of the pump of cooling, the generator, power steering, conditioner compressor (if it is provided)

"a" — area of a normal tension
"b" — limit area
"with" — area of excess of a limit.

Disconnect "weight" from joint stock bank.
Check a belt for cracks, anguishes, deformation, wear and purity.
At detection of any defect replace a belt
Check that the indicator of a natyazhitel "A" was in the area.
If the A indicator is in the zone "with", having passed "b", then replace a generator belt with new.

Replacement of a driving belt of the pump of cooling, the generator, power steering, conditioner compressor (if it is provided) (on the J20 engine)
Replace a belt according to the procedure of replacement of a belt of the generator in the Head Sistema of electric equipment.
Check of a driving belt of the fan of cooling of the engine (for the J20 engine)

2 — the fan coupling
3 — the crankshaft coupling
4 — an adjusting bolt and the pivot axle

Check a belt for a tension
Cooling fan belt tension:
"a" — a deflection in 5 – 7 mm (0. 20 – 0. The 27th inch) under load of 100 N, 10 kg or 22 pounds.

When replacing a belt by new, adjust a belt tension to a deflection of 4 — 5 mm (0. 16 — 0. The 19th inch) for G16. |
If the belt is drawn or too poorly tense, adjust to norm, by adjustment of a pulley of the fan of cooling.
Tighten an adjusting bolt of the generator and the pivot axle.
Connect "weight" to joint stock bank.

Replacement of a belt of the fan of cooling (on the J20 engine)
Replace, according to the procedure of replacement of a driving belt of the fan of cooling in the Section Belt of the Cooling Fan in the Head Okhlazhdeniye of the engine.
Check of a driving belt of the pump of the power steering and compressor of the conditioner (if it is established) (on G16 engines)

At detection of any defect replace a belt.
Check a belt tension
Tension of a belt of the pump of the power steering and compressor of the conditioner:
"a" — a deflection in 6 – 9 mm (0.24 – 0.35 inches) under load of 100 N, 10 kg or 22 pounds.
"b" — a deflection in 4 – 7 mm (0.16 – 0.28 inches) under load of 100 N, 10 kg or 22 pounds.
If the tension of a belt goes beyond this specification, adjust according to the Section the Driving belt of the pump of the power steering in the Head Sistema of the power steering.
Connect "weight" to joint stock bank.

Replacement of a driving belt of the pump of the power steering and/or compressor of the conditioner (if it is established) (on G16 engines)
Replace a belt and then adjust its tension according to the procedure of the replacement of a belt described in the Section the Driving belt of the pump of the power steering in the Head Sistema of the power steering.
