Belt of the cooling fan

Removal

For G16 engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative cable (-) from the accumulator. Turn off an adjusting bolt of a driving belt of the pump P/S and then take off a pump P/S belt.
    Turn off an adjusting bolt (1) and a hinged bolt.
    Weaken a belt, having displaced the generator, and then remove it.

For the J20 engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative cable (-) from the accumulator.
    Untwist an adjusting bolt (1) and a hinged bolt (2).
    Weaken a belt, having displaced a fan pulley. Remove the cooling pump. Just disconnect the fan/coupling from a fan pulley. Take off a belt of the cooling fan (3).

Installation

For G16 engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish a belt on a pulley of the water pump, a pulley of the crankshaft and a pulley of the generator. Establish a driving belt of the pump P/S. Adjust a belt tension as it is specified. Address the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter. Twirl an adjusting bolt and a hinged bolt. Connect a negative cable (-) to the accumulator.

For the J20 engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish a belt to a pulley of the fan and a pulley of the crankshaft. Install the cooling fan. Address the Section the Coupling of the fan of the cooling system in this Chapter. Adjust a belt tension as it is specified. Address the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter. Twirl an adjusting bolt and a hinged bolt. Connect a negative cable (-) to the accumulator.

Examine a belt and check a belt tension. Address the Section Regulation and check of a tension of a belt of the cooling fan in this Chapter.
