Exhaust system

Check

In order to avoid receiving burns, on concern components of the exhaust system until it cooled down. Any works on the exhaust system have to be performed have to be carried out when it is cold.

When carrying out periodic servicing or the car was lifted for carrying out other works, check the exhaust system the next way:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check rubber fastenings for damages, wear, shift.
    Check the exhaust system for leakage, weakening of fastenings, dents and damages. If bolts or nuts weakened, tighten them according to the specification. Check nearby places of a body for damages, the absent parts, cracks, hollows, the weakened connections or other defects allowing to get to gases into interior of the car. Make sure that components of the exhaust system have a sufficient gap with the body bottom, in order to avoid an overheat and possible damages of a floor covering Any found malfunctions have to be eliminated immediately.
