The collector of the fulfilled gases

Components

The car is not equipped with the catalytic converter warming three-component

1 — the collector of the fulfilled gases
2 — the top cover
3 — laying
4 — the oxygen-1 heating sensor

The car is equipped with the warming three-component catalytic converter

The rotating inhaling moment.
Not to reuse.

In order to avoid a burn, do not serve the exhaust system if it is still hot. Service has to be carried out after the system is cooled.

Dismantle

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a negative cable from the accumulator. Disconnect the oxygen-1 heating sensor coupling. Remove the top cover of a collector of exhaust gases. Remove bolts or nuts of an exhaust pipe and a bolt of an arm of an exhaust pipe (if that is available).
1 — an exhaust pipe No. 1
    Remove an element of rigidity of a collector of exhaust gases (3) (if that is available).
    Remove a collector of exhaust gases (1) and its laying (2) from a cylinder head.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Put new laying (1) on a cylinder head.
    Establish a collector of exhaust gases and an element of rigidity (if that is available).
    Attach the condensing laying for connection of a pipe (1) and an exhaust pipe No. 1 (2) to a collector of exhaust gases (3). Before establishing the condensing laying for connection of a pipe (1), check it regarding damage or wear, and if necessary replace. Use new lock-nuts if they are worn-out. Fasten pipe fixture to the specified rotating moment. The rotating inhaling moment: bolt or nut of an exhaust pipe No. 1 (a): 50 N • m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 pounds on foot).
    Establish the top cover on the collector of exhaust gases.
    Connect the coupling of the sensor of heating of oxygen-1 (1) and insert the coupling into an arm (2), 3 device for raising of the engine at dismantle.
    Connect a negative cable to the accumulator. Check whether there is no leak of exhaust gas from the exhaust system.
