Check of pressure of oil

Before checking oil pressure, check the next moments:
Oil level in an oil pan. If the level of oil is low, add oil to a mark of level of full gas station (1) in the oil probe.
- Quality of oil. If oil lost color or worsened, change it. See the table in the Section Engine, Head Maintenance and lubricant to receive recommendations about use of concrete type of oils.
- Oil leaks. If leak is found, eliminate it.

Take out the relay of pressure of oil (1) from the block of cylinders.

Insert the special tool (the oil probe) into the formed empty opening. Special tool: (A) — 09915-77311.

Start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature.
|
|
Make sure that the lever of gear shifting costs on "Neutral" (for the And/T models put the gear shifting lever on the range "Р"), both install the parking brake and block driving wheels. |
After warming up increase speed to 4,000 revolutions per minute and measure oil pressure. Technical characteristics of pressure of oil: 330 – 430 kPa (3.3 – 4.3 kg/cm2, 46.9 – 61.1 ps) at 4000 revolutions per minute (about/m).
Kill the engine and take out the oil probe.

Before delivering to the oil pressure relay into place, do not forget to wrap up its carving a sealing tape (1) and to fasten the relay to the specified rotating moment.

If the edge of a sealing tape supports a relay carving, cut off it. |
Start the engine and check the oil pressure relay upon a leakage.
