Specifications of system differ from specifications of the module of management of ABS

Description

When the uncharacteristic signal is given on not used conclusion of the module of management at the working or wrong installed hydraulic block / module of management of ABS, this KDN will be displayed.

Survey

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    The ignition switch is switched off. Check contact from an assembly plait to the module of management. If contact as it should be, replace with obviously serviceable hydraulic block / module of management of ABS with the correct specifications. Again check system.

KDN 15 (KDN OF THE C 1015)

Chain of a G-sensor and chain of 4WD

A — model with folding top

Description

When the vehicle stops or goes if the difference of potentials between a conclusion of a signal of a sensor of "A 14" and a conclusion of grounding of a sensor of "A4" does not correspond to the established value of tension or if signal tension at a stop differs from signal tension when driving, this KDN is removed.

Thus, this KDN can be removed when the vehicle is lifted and its wheel (a) rotate. In that case dump KDN and check again.

    When the G-sensor is installed on the vehicle 2WD, this KDN is removed. When the chain of a lamp of 4WD is opened or short-circuited on the earth, this KDN is removed.

Check contact of a wire of "BLK/WHT" with 1-output (model with folding top) or 20-output (besides model with folding top) the socket of the combined counter.

If everything is all right, turn on the ignition switch and measure tension at a wire of "BLK/WHT" of the 20-output socket of the combined counter. Voltage is 10-14 V?

Pass to a step 4

The chain of "BLK/WHT" is opened

Connect the socket of the combined counter

Connect a wire of "ORN/BLK" 16-output (model to folding top) or 22-output (besides model with folding top) the socket of the combined counter with the earth, using an office wire.

Check whether 4WD lamp at turning on of the ignition switch is lit. The lamp of 4WD burns?

Pass to a step 5

Replace the combined counter

Switch-off the ignition switch

Check contact of ECM (PCM) and the switch 4WD

If contact as it should be, check 4WD control system, having addressed the Section Control System of the Four-wheel Drive in the Head Forward differential

System in good shape?

Repair a control system of the four-wheel drive

Switch-off the ignition switch

Disconnect the socket from the hydraulic block / module of management of ABS

Check contact of the module of management of ABS at a conclusion of "A24"

If contact as it should be, turn on the ignition switch and transfer a control lever to situation "2H"

Measure tension between a conclusion of "A24" of the socket of the module and the case/earth. Voltage of 8 V or above?

Replace with the serviceable hydraulic block / assembly of the module of management of ABS

The chain of "ORN/BLK" is opened

The G-sensor is established reliably?

Pass to a step 8

Tighten the screw or a bracket of a sensor. If it is not possible, use the new screw

The ignition switch is switched-off.

Remove G - a sensor from a bracket (for model with folding top).

Check contact with G - a sensor.

If contact as it should be, then check a G-sensor. A sensor in good shape?

Pass to a step 9

Replace a G-sensor

Disconnect sockets of the hydraulic block / module of management of ABS (1) and G sensors

Check contact of the module of management of ABS at conclusions of "A14" and "A4"

If contact as it should be, then turn on the ignition switch and measure tension between a conclusion of "BLK/WHT" (model with folding top) or a conclusion of "GRN/ORN" (besides model with folding top) the socket of a sensor and the case/earth. Tension is equal to 10-14 V?

Pass to a step 10

The chain of "BLK/WHT" (model with folding top) or a chain of "GRN/ORN" is opened (besides model with folding top)

Measure tension between a conclusion of the socket of a sensor of "GRN/ORN" and the case. Tension is equal to 0 V?

Check whether the chain of "ORN/WHT" is opened or whether it is short-circuited on the earth or a chain of "GRN/ORN"

Chain in good shape?

The chain of "GRN/ORN" is opened. If a chain as it should be, Replace with the serviceable hydraulic block / assembly of the module of management of ABS

Description

The module of management of ABS traces tension at a conclusion of each sensor when the ignition switch is switched on. When tension does not correspond to the specified range, the corresponding KDN will be removed. Also if the sensor signal at start or the movement is not removed, the corresponding KDN will be removed.

When the vehicle is used by one of the next ways, one of these KDN can be removed even if a sensor in good shape. If there is a suspicion, eliminate malfunction (jamming of a brake, etc.) the vehicle, dump KDN and then after performance of check when driving as 2 Sections Table of Diagnostics of Malfunctions of ABS are described in a step, and check whether there are no deviations.

    The vehicle is set in motion with the lifted parking brake. The vehicle is set in motion with the jamming brake. When driving the wheel was scrolled. Wheel (a) rotated when the vehicle was lifted on a jack. The vehicle got stuck.

Remove a wheel speed sensor

Check whether the sensor is damaged and whether foreign matters stuck to it. A sensor in good shape?

Check visually through an opening for installation of a sensor of speed of a wheel:

    is not absent and whether the rotor is damaged whether foreign matters stuck whether the rotor is excentric whether not too a free wheeling at bearings of wheels

Bearings in good shape?

Clear, repair or replace

Establish a sensor on a fist or the case of a shaft

Tighten a bolt sensor with the corresponding torque of an inhaling and check whether there is no gap between a sensor and a fist or the case of a shaft. Replace a sensor if it is necessary

Check the output tension and a form of a wave of a sensor

Whether the correct output tension or a form of a wave is received?

Replace with the serviceable hydraulic block / assembly of the module of management of ABS and again check

Description

The module of management of ABS traces tension on a solenoid chain conclusion at the switched-on ignition switch. It removes this KDN when tension on a conclusion does not go down/increases at team ON/OFF to the solenoid or a difference of tension between chain conclusions the solenoid exceeds the specified value when the solenoid is switched-off.

Description

The module of management of ABS traces power supply tension on a conclusion of "A25". When tension of the power supply becomes excessively big or excessively low, this this KDN is removed. As soon as tension raises or goes down to the specified level, the displayed KDN will be dumped.
