Air pump

Disconnect air hoses and a fitting from the air pump.
Having removed bolts, remove the pump
|
For installation perform the procedure of removal upside-down. Inhaling moment: 13 N • m (1.3 kg-m, 9.5 pounds feet).

Check
|
Install the special tool, the voltmeter and the battery on the pump.
Tighten an adjusting bolt of the special tool against the stop and close its side opening for check of air by means of a fuel hose as a deaf stopper. Special tool (A): 09918-18110.
Check that the motor began to work (its sound was heard) when the battery is connected, and stopped when the specified pressure is reached. Check whether there is no air leak. The specified pressure: 30.0 – 45.0 kPa (0.30 – 0.45 kg/cm2, 4.25 – 6.40 pounds on sq. inch).
Check that indications of the voltmeter were within the values given below:
When the motor works: 0 – 1 Volt
When the motor ceased to work: 10 – 14 Volts

Do not allow the motor to work continuously more than 10 seconds that it did not break. |
