Check of a rim, nut and bearing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check each rim for dents, deformations and cracks. Strongly damaged disk should be replaced.
    Check how wheel nuts are tightened, and, if necessary, tighten them to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: wheel nuts (a): 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 pounds feet).
    Check wear of the bearing of a wheel. Having tightened a lock-nut to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling, apply the measuring device with the dial to the center of a nave of a wheel and measure an axial side play. Limit of an axial side play of the bearing of a wheel: 0.05 mm (0.002 inches).
    If results of measurement exceed a limit, replace the bearing.
    Rotate a wheel to check existence of noise in the bearing and smoothness of rotation. If defect is found, replace the bearing.
