Check of a diagnostic code of malfunctions (KDN)
With use of the SUZUKI scanner
|
To prepare the SUZUKI scanner.
|
At the switched-off ignition to attach the device to the socket of the data transmission channel (DTC) (1) which is under the dashboard from the driver's chair. Additional device(s): SUZUKI scanner.
|
Include ignition.
Read the diagnostic code of malfunction represented on the display of the SUZUKI scanner and unpack it or write down.
For additional information see the Reference book of the mechanic.
If process of information transfer between the control unit of body electronics and the SUZUKI scanner is impossible, check whether this process with the control unit on other car is carried out.
If information transfer process in this case is carried out, the SUZUKI scanner is in good repair. Then check the socket of a data transmission channel and the consecutive chain which is in the car with which process of information transfer did not manage to be carried out.
After completion of check, switch off ignition and disconnect the SUZUKI scanner from the socket of a data transmission channel.
