System of diagnostics on a board (for the cars equipped with the socket for the monitor) For the control system of the automatic transmission the electronic control unit has following functions. When the ignition key turns on at the switched-off engine, the lamp of the indicator of malfunction (MIL) for check of a bulb of the indicator joins. When the electronic control unit finds malfunction in an electronic control system of switching, it keeps a malfunction code in the memory.
