Start by means of a crossing point in case of need
With the auxiliary (voltodobavochny) battery
|

If the car is equipped with manual transmission and the catalytic converter, do not push and do not tow it. It can result in malfunctions in system of release, etc. systems. |
When using crossing points both the voltodobavochny, and discharged battery demand careful leaving.
Perform the procedure described below. Be careful not to cause a spark.

- Non-compliance with the following conditions can bring to:
- To serious wounds (eyes especially will suffer) or damage of property, the caused explosion of the battery, leak of electrolyte or burns electric current.
- To damage of electronic elements of any car.
- Remove rings, the watch, costume jewelry. Put on a security measure for eyes.
- You watch that metal tools or crossing points (connecting cables) did not adjoin to the positive plug of the battery. It can lead to short circuit.

Install the car on the parking brake. Install the selector of automatic transmission in situation the Parking (for manual transmission – the Neutral). Switch off ignition, headlights, etc.
Check electrolyte level. If its level is less than extreme lower point, add the distilled water.
Attach one end of a crossing point to the positive plug of the voltodobavochny battery, and other end - to the positive plug of the discharged battery (use the battery of 12 V to start the engine).
Attach one end of a negative wire to the negative plug of the voltodobavochny battery, and other end – to grounding of the engine (for example, to a final collector) at least on 45 cm (18 inches) from the battery of the started car.

Do not attach a negative wire directly to the negative plug of the faulty battery. |
Start the car engine by means of the voltodobavochny battery and switch off the service equipment. Then start the engine by means of the discharged battery.
Separate crossing points in the return sequence.

With a charging element
|

At start of the engine by means of a crossing point and the charger be convinced that tension makes 12 V, and negative grounding is applied. Do not use the charger 24 V. Eto can lead to serious malfunctions in electric system and to damage of electronic components. |
