8.2.9. Ignition system (6-cylinder engines 2,6 and 2,8)
THE GENERAL DATA

These engines have no ignition distributor. At 6-cylinder engines of 3 doubled coils of ignition. Dual coils of ignition are in front of a head of cylinders. They cope the block of management of system of injection of gasoline through the target cascade of pressure which is strengthened on a forward wall of the car in a motor compartment. Thus one dual coil of ignition provides with pressure of ignition of cylinders of one pair. During the same moment of ignition the dual coil makes simultaneously two sparks. And, depending on the circumstances, one dual coil of ignition submits a high voltage to that pair of cylinders at which pistons simultaneously come in ВМТ.

Example:

At the 6-cylinder engine one spark plug develops a spark on a step of compression of the cylinder 1 while other candle simultaneously develops a spark on a step of release of the cylinder 6. Only for this purpose "single ignition" pressure about 1 sq. Therefore raised deterioration of spark plugs it moves does not cause.

Through one turn of a cranked shaft the cylinder 6 is on a step of compression and the cylinder 1 on a release step. For cylinders 2 + 4 and 3 + 5 this process proceeds similarly.
