10.12. A support of a back brake

The prevention

On models with ABS disconnect the accumulator before the work beginning to prevent air hit in module ABS.

1. Remove a back wheel.
2. Disconnect a rope from the lever of a manual brake on a support.
3. For reduction of losses of a brake liquid remove a cap of a tank of a brake liquid and tightly close a mouth a polyethylene film or press corresponding brake hoses.
4. Disconnect a brake tube from a support.
5. Turn off bolts of fingers of a support and remove a support from the car.

The prevention

The mechanism of a manual brake is not subject to repair. If it is faulty, it is necessary to replace a support.

1. Clear a support of a dirt and a dust.
2. Get the piston, having turned it counter-clockwise.
3. Remove duster and consolidation of the piston from the support cylinder.
4. Remove fingers of a support and covers of fingers.
5. Carefully clear all elements in methyl spirit or a pure brake liquid. Examine all elements and replace worn out or damaged elements.
6. At assemblage check up, that all elements were absolutely pure.
7. Grease new consolidation and establish it in a flute in the support cylinder.
8. Establish duster on the piston and insert the piston into a support, rotating it clockwise.
9. Establish fingers and covers into place.

Installation is spent upside-down removals.
