Adjustment of a tension of a belt

For the G16 engine

For the G16 engine with the conditioner

1 — a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster
2 — a conditioner compressor pulley (if it is equipped)
3 — a pulley of a bent shaft

For the G16 engine without conditioner

1 — a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster
3 — a pulley of a bent shaft


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    To adjust a tension of a driving belt of the power steering, use an adjusting bolt on the conditioner compressor on the cars equipped with the conditioner and on the pump of the hydraulic booster on cars without conditioner. Adjust a belt tension according to the above-stated specification. Then tighten adjusting and fixing bolts according to the moment.

For the J20 engine

For adjustment of a tension of a driving belt of the hydraulic booster see the Section Generator Belt in the Head Sistema of electric equipment. Inhaling moments: pulley bolts — 25 N • m (25 kg-m, 18,5 pound on foot).
