CMP sensor

It is forbidden to sort a sensor. If any malfunction is found, replace it as the whole assembly.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Switch-off the coupling of a CMP sensor (2). Remove a sensor of CMP (1), having removed a bolt(s) (3).

J20 engine.

Installation

After installation of a CMP sensor, adjust ignition advancing time (see Check of time of an advancing of ignition in this Chapter).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Establish a new O-ring (2), having dripped engine oil on CMP a sensor (1).

Establish a CMP sensor (1) on a cam-shaft (3). Insert at installation an emphasis of the coupling of a CMP sensor (2) into cam-shaft sockets. An emphasis of the coupling of a CMP sensor (2) is displaced therefore if an emphasis is not inserted into sockets, turn an axis of CMP-of a sensor by 180 degrees and try again.
