For the vehicles equipped with additional system of restriction of the movement ISC (inflatable safety cushion):
- Service of components of the inflatable safety cushion (ISC) and near them or works with an electrical wiring have to be performed only by the authorized dealer of SUZUKI. Non-compliance with security measures can lead to inadvertent operation of system or put system out of action. Any of these two conditions can lead to a serious trauma.
- Works on maintenance should be begun not earlier than in 90 seconds after the ignition switch is transferred to situation "LOCK/ZAMOK" and the negative cable is disconnected from the battery. Otherwise the system can be activated by reserve energy of the module of sensors and diagnostics.

All fastenings of brakes are important elements of fastening and can influence work of the vital details and systems, and/or to affect considerably repair price. They should be replaced with the details having the same number or equivalent if such replacement is necessary. Do not use for replacement of a detail of the worst quality or substitutes. It is necessary to observe the specified values of torque of an inhaling at assembly to provide long service life of all details. It is not necessary to use welding as it can lead to extensive damages and weakening of metal. |
Assembly of a drum brake has the system of adjustment of a gap of a boot so the gap between a drum and boots is supported to constants in any conditions. A back brake - drum type. It has a supporting function when the brake lever is pressed and when the parking brake is used on the flat road.
It has also double support function when the parking brake is used on the inclined road and loading is distributed in the vehicle in the longitudinal direction.

Replace all components included in ремкомплект at service of this drum brake. Grease all parts as it is specified. |

If you remove any hydraulic components or disconnect the brake highway, pit air from the brake system. Values of torque of an inhaling are given for dry ungreased fastenings. |
