Tires for replacement

In need of replacement of tires it is necessary to replace with tires of that type which initially completed the car. See the Table on tires. The tires installed when replacing have to be the same size, a design and calculated on the same loading, as initially established.

Use of tires of other size or type can affect the course and driving, calibration of the speedometer/odometer, a road gleam of the car and a gap between the tire or a protivobuksovochny chain and a body and the chassis.

Do not put different types of tires on one car, for example, radial, diagonal and diagonal with the reinforced breker except for cases of the emergency need as it can strongly influence driving, and it is possible to lose control.

It is recommended to install new tires in pairs on one axis. If it is required to replace only one tire, it has to be that steam room which has the biggest protector to counterbalance brake coupling.

In metric system pressure in tires is measured in kilopascals (kPa). In the plate on tires pressure in tires is usually specified both in kilopascals (kPa) and in pounds per square inch (psi).

Metric devices for measurement of pressure are on sale in shops of tools. The translation of the most ordinary values of pressure in tires from kilopascals (kPa) in pounds per square inch is shown in the table provided at the left (psi).

Translation:

    : 1 psi = 6.895 kPa : 1 kgf/cm2 = 98.066 kPa
