Stabilizer of cross stability / plug
Removal
|
|
Lift the car.
Remove bolts of a fixing bracket of the stabilizer of cross stability (7).
Remove nuts of the spherical hinge of the stabilizer (6), a washer (5) and the plug (4).
Remove the stabilizer of cross stability (2) together with spherical hinges (3).
Disconnect spherical hinges of the stabilizer (3) from a bar of the stabilizer (2).

Installation

For the correct installation of a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability, on both parties, be convinced that color paint (1) on a bar of the stabilizer is combined with the fixing plug (3) on the right and at the left. |

Connect spherical hinges and a bar of the stabilizer.
Install spherical hinges of the stabilizer on the operating levers.
|
|
Do not tighten until the end of a nut of the spherical hinge of the stabilizer. |
Establish brackets of the fixing plug of a bar of the stabilizer.
At installation of the stabilizer collect all its parts, without tightening them to check centering of the stabilizer on the parties. Make sure that the spherical hinge costs in neutral situation at a look from the top party of a body.
Tighten bolts of a bracket of the stabilizer and a nut of the spherical hinge of the stabilizer to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling.

Nut of the spherical hinge of the stabilizer (a): 26 N • m (2.6 kg-m, 19.0 pounds feet)
Nut of the spherical hinge of the stabilizer (b): 50 N • m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 pounds feet)
Bolt of a bracket of the stabilizer (c): 23 N • m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 pounds feet)
