Main cylinder of coupling

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Clear around a cover of the tank (8) and gather liquid the syringe or something similar. Remove a hairpin of a fork of a bar of a pusher (5). Disconnect a tube for liquid (2) from the main cylinder (1).

Do not allow hit of liquid on the painted surfaces.

    Remove a nut (3) and a bolt (4) fastenings of the cylinder. Remove the main cylinder (1) and laying.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    To pit air from the main cylinder (1), incline it and add liquids.

Having pitted air from the main cylinder (1), close on it a tube opening that liquid was not splashed out from it, the tube will not be attached yet.

    Install the main cylinder (1) and new laying on the case, having attached a bolt, nuts and a hairpin of a fork of a bar of a pusher.

Do not reuse laying.


    Tighten a fixing bolt (1) and a nut (2) to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Moment of an inhaling (a): 13 N • m (1.3 kg-m, 9.5 pounds feet).
    Connect a tube for liquid and tighten a razvaltsovanny nut to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Moment of an inhaling (b): 16 N • m (1.6 kg-m, 11.5 pounds feet). Apply lubricant on a hairpin of a fork (3) and establish it. "A": lubricant 99000-25010 Fill the tank with the specified brake fluid and check whether there is no leak.
    After installation pit air from system and check a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling. The procedure of drain of air see in the Head the Brake system.

Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a casing, and then a lock ring (1) at the piston lowered inside.
    Remove a bar of a pusher (2) and gradually give compressed air to an opening for connection of a pipe to remove the piston (3). At the same time be careful that it did not jump out.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check all sorted parts for wear or damages and replace if necessary.
  • Wash out the sorted parts brake fluid.
  • Do not reuse the piston (3) and a lock ring (1).

    Check the internal diameter of the cylinder for scratches or corrosion. It is better to replace the corrosion cylinder (4). Corrosion can look as deepenings or excessive roughness of a surface.

It is impossible to grind the internal diameter of the cylinder (4) any abrasive materials as it can damage the internal surface of the cylinder.

    Wash out the cylinder (4) in pure brake fluid. Shake out surplus of liquid from the cylinder (4). Do not use fabric pieces to wipe the cylinder (4) dry as parts of fabric cannot be removed from a surface of internal diameter of the cylinder.

Assembly

Before installation wash out all parts in the specified brake fluid.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Apply brake fluid in the piston and the case of the cylinder. Install the piston in the cylinder. Lower the piston inside and establish a lock ring (1). Also establish a casing.

    Tighten a lock-nut (8) to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Moment of an inhaling (a): 10 N • m (1.0 kg-m, 7.5 pounds feet).
