Cylindrical spring

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Lift the car that the forward suspension bracket freely hung. Remove wheels.
    Remove a shaft axis drive flange (at the all-wheel drive car).
    Remove a spring ring of a shaft of the forward drive (1) (at the all-wheel drive car).
    Remove bolts of a support of a disk brake and hang up a support on a wire hook (1).

Hang up the removed support of a disk brake on a wire hook that the brake hose was not bent and was not overwound and did not stretch. Do not press a brake pedal when brake shoes are removed.


    If there is a system of anti-blocking of brakes (ABS), remove a bolt of the plug of a wire (2) and remove the sensor of speed of a forward wheel (1) from a pin.

  • Do not pull a wire when you remove the sensor of speed of a forward wheel (1).
  • Do not damage the surface of the sensor of speed of a forward wheel (1) and track that for installation dust, dirt, etc. did not get to its opening.

    Remove a brake disk.

If it is impossible to remove a disk hands, use 8-millimeter bolts.

    Remove a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability as it is described in this Chapter in the Section Stabilizer of Cross Stability / Plug, (Removal point).
    Disconnect a tip of steering draft from a rotary pin by means of a stripper.
    Jack prop up the lower lever.
    Remove rack bracket bolts.
    Remove a hairpin nut with a spherical tip.
    By means of a stripper disconnect a rotary pin from a hairpin with a spherical tip.
    Lowering a jack, remove a rotary pin and a nave of a wheel.
    Remove a cylindrical spring (1).

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    For installation of a cylindrical spring execute in the return sequence of manipulation on its removal.

The top and lower diameters of a cylindrical spring are not identical. With a big diameter put the end down, and establish the free end in a nest of a spring (1).


Bottom.
    When tightening all bolt connections observe the specified values of the moment of an inhaling. As for a hairpin nut with a spherical tip, do not forget to insert the forelock and to bend it after tightening of a nut. Tighten a nut of a tip of steering draft a hairpin with spherical tips up that the hairpin did not rotate.

For the all-wheel drive car

a. For a washer of a shaft of the forward drive and an external axis of a fist of a forward wheel use lithium plastic lubricant. "A": lubricant 99000-25010.

For the all-wheel drive car

b. At installation of a cutting lock ring (1) on a shaft of the drive use a bolted opening in a drive shaft to pull out it and to turn big diameter (2) rings to the right.

For the all-wheel drive car

c. At installation of a flange of the drive of an axis of a shaft (1) on a nave of a wheel apply sealant on the adjoining surface of a flange of the drive of an axis of a shaft and tighten a bolt of a flange (2) to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. "A": sealant 99000-31090. Inhaling moment: bolt of a flange of an axis of a shaft (a): 50 N • m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 pounds feet).

    Check that no alien material stuck to the sensor and a rotor. Install the sensor of speed of a wheel (1) and the plug of its fastening.
      Inhaling moment:
        bolt of the plug of fastening (a): 10 N • m (1.0 kg-m, 7.5 pounds feet) bolt of the sensor of the speed (b): 23 N • m (2.3 kg-m, 17.0 pounds feet)

At installation of the sensor of speed of a forward wheel do not pull and do not overwind excessively connecting wires. Reliably attach a sealing ring to an internal wing.

    Check that there was no gap between the sensor and a fist.
