Check of a rim, nut and bearing

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check each rim for existence of dents, deformations and cracks. Strongly damaged disk should be replaced.
    Check an inhaling of nuts of a nave of a wheel and, if necessary, tighten to the specified value of the moment of an inhaling. Inhaling moment: a nut of a wheel (a) — 100 N • m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 pounds feet).
    Check wheel bearings for wear. To measure a side play, take off a cap from the middle of a wheel and apply the device with the dial to the center of the bridge. Wheel bearing side play border: 0.8 mm (0.03 inches).
    If measurement exceeds this border, replace the bearing.
    Rotating a wheel, check the bearing for noise and smoothness of rotation. If defect is found, replace the bearing.
