Instability

In this case a forward or back part of the car should understand leaving from the rectilinear movement as instability here and there. It is caused unevenness of a steel framework in a tire. It is the most noticeable at low speeds, from 8 to 48 km/h (5 — 30 miles an hour).

By means of the road test it is possible to reveal in what tire there is a defect. If the defective tire costs on a back axis of the car, then a back part of the car will ransack. From the driver's place it will be felt that as though someone pushes the car sideways. If the defective tire costs on a forward axis that roving is even more noticeable. It is shown when driving back and forth, and the driver feels that he is on an axis of turn of the car.

Roving can be quickly revealed by means of the detector of defects of tires (TPD) and following recommendations of the producer of the equipment. If TPD is inaccessible, then there is other, longer method of shift of others, obviously qualitative, wheels on the car.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Sweep on the car to define what axis forward or back does not hold the road. Rearrange obviously qualitative wheels from the similar car on a problem axis. If it is impossible to define in what axis there is a roving, then replace wheels on a back axis. Once again carry out the road test if improvement is noted, then put old wheels on one, the defective tire will not be found yet. If improvement was not noted, then replace all wheels and, then, change on one, the defective tire will not be found yet.
